The Southwest Regional Bootcamp was started in 2011 as a collaborative effort from local institutions in the Texas Medical Center. The goal is to introduce incoming Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellows to important procedures as they begin their fellowship journey.

The Bootcamp has now grown to encompass 18 member programs in Texas and surrounding states. It serves as a valuable venue for regional collaboration within the region.
