Graduate Humanities & Ethics
Led by Anson Koshy, MD, MBE, the new GME in Humanities and Ethics program launched in August 2022 with its inaugural cohort, comprised of residents and fellows from various clinical departments at McGovern Medical School. The second cohort was welcomed in August 2023.
Program participants attend monthly sessions focused on topics in the humanities and ethics, such as race and healthcare, death and dying, bioethics, narrative medicine, the visual arts, and more. They also engage in reflective writing, participate in seminar discussions, and produce written/artistic work as a capstone project.
