Neuro-Oncology
UTHealth Neurosciences specialists are skilled at providing care for patients with tumors affecting the nervous system and with neurological complications of systemic cancer. The specialists focus on helping cancer patients overcome neurotoxicity associated with chemotherapy.
The multidisciplinary team meets at weekly conferences to review complex cases and discuss each patient’s plan of care and progress. The team works with neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neurologists, genetic counselors, pain medicine specialists and other cancer specialists.
The team welcomes prospective patients at all stages of care, whether they have recently received a diagnosis or have already received treatment.
