Dr. Xinh Tran is a board-certified neurologist with clinical interests in general neurology, including headaches, memory loss, movement disorders such as tremors and Parkinson’s disease, and cerebrovascular disease.

She strives to put the needs of her patients and their families first. Dr. Tran received her medical degree from the Long School of Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she was a Veritas Mentor in Medicine, a Veritas Peer Advisor, and served on the medical school’s Admissions Committee. She completed residency training in neurology at the same institution, and served as academic chief resident and resident wellness champion.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.

Collaboration with Referring Physicians

Physicians at UTHealth Houston Neurosciences engage referring physicians in the care of their patients, keeping them informed about patient progress throughout the evaluation and treatment process. After a patient’s treatment, referring physicians receive a summary and a plan for follow-up. Our physicians encourage continued communication about each patient.
