Martin J. Citardi, MD, FACS, and Samer Fakhri, MD, FACS, FRCS(C), who specialize in the treatment of complicated sinus and nasal disease and are core members of the Texas Sinus Institute and Texas Skull Base Physicians, and Soham Roy, MD, FACS, FAAP, who serves as director of pediatric otolaryngology, were named to the 2012 Best Doctors in America® list, which includes the nation’s most respected specialists and outstanding primary care physicians. The list represents the top 5 percent of doctors in the United States selected from among more than 46,000 physicians in over 400 specialties and subspecialties.
Dr. Citardi, who is chief of otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and professor and chair of the department of Otorhinolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School, has been named to the list every year since 2005. Dr. Fakhri, an associate professor and residency program director in the department, has been named to the list since 2010. Dr. Roy, an associate professor and the department’s quality officer, joins them on the 2012 list.
