Dr. Tang Ho Named Among Texas Super Doctors for 2020
Tang Ho, MD, MSc, chief of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, has been named by his peers among Super Doctors® in Texas. Super Doctors are selected through a rigorous process that identifies providers with high peer recognition and outstanding professional achievement.
Dr. Ho directs the Texas Center for Facial Plastic Surgery, a core division of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is dual board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His clinical interests include aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries of the face, including facial rejuvenation procedures, rhinoplasty, facial reanimation procedures for patients with facial paralysis, reconstructive surgery of skin cancer defects, and complex microvascular facial reconstruction. He is currently engaged in research on tissue engineering and clinical outcomes of rhinoplasty.
Dr. Ho, an associate professor in the department and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has been named among Super Doctors in Texas twice, and prior to that, was recognized among Super Doctors Rising Stars® in Texas three times.
