Dr. Jason Talmadge Named a 2023 Texas Super Doctors Rising Star

Jason Talmadge, MDJason Talmadge, MD, has been named by his peers among Super Doctors Rising Stars® in Texas. The results were published online at www.superdoctors.com, following an extensive independent nomination and research process. The Super Doctors Rising Stars list celebrates the best doctors in Texas who have been practicing 10 years or fewer.

“I’m honored to be recognized by my peers for the quality of care I provide to the people of our community,” says Dr. Talmadge, an assistant professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, who joined the department in 2021 and provides comprehensive ENT care at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center as well as the UT Physicians Otorhinolaryngology-The Woodlands practice.

Dr. Talmadge earned his medical degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. He completed residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he received awards for exceptional teaching and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went on to complete a fellowship in advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Prior to joining McGovern Medical School, Dr. Talmadge practiced comprehensive ENT at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Kenosha.

He provides expert care for adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients with concerns such as hearing loss, dizziness, ear infections, tonsil and adenoid disease, thyroid and parathyroid disease, salivary gland disease, disorders of the voice box, and tumors of the head and neck. In addition, he has special expertise in the treatment of sinus and nasal disorders, including medical and surgical treatments for sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal obstruction, allergies, and tumors of the paranasal sinuses and skull base using minimally invasive approaches.
