Otolaryngology Residency Program Ranked High by Doximity

UTHealth Houston’s Otolaryngology Residency Program is the highest ranked ENT residency program with three or fewer residents among the 26 U.S. programs rated by Doximity, the largest online professional network for physicians in the United States. Doximity’s comprehensive physician database includes all physicians practicing in the U.S. as distinguished by their National Provider Identifier numbers.

“It’s a tremendous honor to be ranked among the top residency programs in otolaryngology, especially considering that we are a midsize program accepting three residents each year,” says rhinologist William C. Yao, MD, associate professor, director of the Otolaryngology Residency Program, and co-director of the Texas Sinus Institute Rhinology and Skull Base Fellowship in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. “Our highly specialized faculty gives residents a great opportunity to work in otolaryngology subspecialties at a high-volume academic medical center serving a diverse patient population.
