Dr. Pratihar Presented on Ototoxicity and Bone-Anchored Hearing Devices at April Conference in Mumbai

CanRehab in front of purple stick figureRajarshi Pratihar, AuD, MHA, MBA, director of audiology in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, delivered two virtual presentations at CANREHAB-2024, on April 19-21, 2024. The meeting, held in Mumbai, was the third international multidisciplinary cancer rehabilitation conference held under the auspices of Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai and the National Cancer Grid, a network of major institutions across India committed to establishing uniform standards of cancer care.

Dr. Pratihar presented two lectures: “Optimizing Ototoxicity Monitoring: Leveraging the Strength of the Dose-Toxicity Framework” and “Enhancing Bone-Anchored Hearing Devices for Temporal Bone Cancers.”

“Tata Memorial Centre holds a significant place in my heart,” he says. “This esteemed institution has provided treatment to several members of my family, including my father, aunt, and uncle. Their experiences deepened my admiration for the center’s commitment to patient care. I am grateful to have this opportunity and happy to be able to contribute to their noble mission.”

Dr. Pratihar is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the American Auditory Society.
