Event Recap: The 2026 Cancun ENT Colloquium
Seventy physicians attended the 2026 Cancun ENT Colloquium, a three-day CME meeting co-sponsored by UTHealth Houston and Rush University. The event was held in February 13-15, 2026 at the Barceló Maya Palace, an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico.
This three-day CME meeting brought together practicing otolaryngologists from across the country for an immersive educational experience that balanced cutting-edge clinical content, thoughtful panel discussions, and meaningful professional connection in a unique international setting. Faculty emphasized practical, case-based discussions and emerging technologies that are actively shaping modern ENT practice, reinforcing the colloquium’s reputation as a clinically relevant and forward-looking educational forum.
A defining feature of the Cancun ENT Colloquium was its collegial format, which encouraged interaction between faculty and attendees. Dedicated networking opportunities allowed participants to exchange perspectives, discuss evolving standards of care, and build collaborations that extend well beyond the meeting itself. The meeting also included an exhibitor display area highlighting innovative products and services supporting otolaryngology practice and patient care.
This year’s lectures and panel discussions focused on pediatric otolaryngology, otology, sleep apnea, rhinology, laryngology, general ENT, head and neck cancers, and facial plastic surgery. Attendees earned CME credits and learned about new products and services from leading industry exhibitors.
Hosted at an all-inclusive resort along the Riviera Maya, the setting provided an ideal backdrop for learning and renewal. Attendees were able to balance rigorous educational sessions with time to recharge alongside colleagues and family, reflecting the meeting’s guiding theme: Learn. Connect. Relax.
The 2026 Cancun ENT Colloquium reaffirmed UTHealth Houston’s and Rush University’s shared commitment to high-quality continuing medical education and to fostering a vibrant, connected otolaryngology community.
