Biography

Dr. Brian Cameron, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston with a specialty of rhinology. A native of California, he earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California before coming to Texas for residency training at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School at Houston. While at UT, he was honored as both Resident of the Year and Resident Educator of the Year and was a resident representative to the Residency Clinical Competency Committee.

Following residency Dr. Cameron continued his training at Vanderbilt University with a fellowship in advanced rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. He is the co-author of refereed articles, invited articles, and book chapters and has presented locally and nationally. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Rhinologic Society, the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society, and the American College of Surgeons.
