Congratulations to Graduating Residents and Fellows

Elton Lambert, MD, and Douglas Stanley, MD, completed their residencies in otolaryngology in 2014. Dr. Lambert, who received his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York, has begun a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Stanley, a graduate of UTHealth Medical School, is in private practice in Boerne, Texas.

Drew Plonk, MD, completed a one-year fellowship in rhinology and sinus and skull base surgery in June. Dr. Plonk, who was on staff at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, prior to joining the department of Otorhinolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery as a fellow, returned to Wake Forest as an assistant professor. He is a 2006 Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency training.

Eric Yavrouian, MD, who completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in June, has joined ENT Surgical Associates in Glendale, California, as their facial plastic surgeon. Dr. Yavrouian received his medical degree at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles in 2008 and subsequently completed his residency in otolaryngology—head and neck surgery at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.
