Academy of Master Educators inductees

The Department of Pediatrics had two faculty members recently inducted into the McGovern Medical School Academy of Master Educators:

Dr. Evangelista received award Dr. McKay receives award

  • Pediatric Hospital Medicine Professor Monaliza Evangelista, MD (left)
  • Community & General Pediatrics Division Chief and Associate Professor Sandy McKay, MD

Dr. Evangelista was awarded this honor in 2022 and Dr. McKay in 2023, but since there was no event held that year, they were honored in this ceremony held August 22.
