Physical Therapist
Hemophilia and other blood disorders often impact muscles and joints, causing ongoing pain. At the Gulf States Hemophilia and Thrombophilia Center (GSHTC) we offer evaluation by a physical therapist specially trained in hemophilia and other blood disorders. Physical fitness and muscle strength are important cornerstones of our approach to hemophilia care because well-developed muscles provide better joint support, better protection from daily wear and tear, and better recovery after joint bleeds.
