Mary E. Aitken, MD, MPH, is Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical school and Physician-in-Chief at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. She holds the Dan L Duncan Distinguished University Chair in Pediatrics. She is a member of the Division of Community and General Pediatrics. Areas of Expertise include General Pediatrics, Childhood Injury Epidemiology and Prevention.

Emma A. Omoruyi, MD, MPH, is an attending physician in the Division of Community and General Pediatrics. Her areas of interest include curriculum development/assessment, health equity, leadership development, resilience and mentorship.
Michelle S. Barratt, MD, MPH, Associate Program Director
Michelle S. Barratt, MD, MPH, is in the division of Community and General Pediatrics working primarily at the UT Physicians Pediatric clinic across the street from Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She is passionate about teaching to teach, communication skills and providing excellent care to her patients alongside learners (medical students and residents).

Monaliza S. Evangelista, MD, is an attending physician in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Her areas of interest include medical education, curriculum development, mentorship, advocacy, and global health.
