Biography

Dr. Ibrahim an Assistant Professor at Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is the medical Director for Children Memorial Hermann Consult and Liaison Services. Dr Ibrahim completed General Psychiatry residency at university of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston UTMB in 2006 and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital, Drexel University in 2008. She is Board certified both in General Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She earned her MBA from University of Leicester, UK in 2006. In addition, she currently serves as Delegate on the Harris County Medical Society (HCMS) Delegation to the TMA (Texas Medical Association) House of Delegates. She also serves as an Expert Panelist on the Texas Medical board. She has an extensive experience in several clinical areas of Psychiatry including Autism, Developmental Delays, ADHD, Mood and Psychotic disorders. She also has a passion for teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows at all levels.
