UTHealth Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is hiring a Social Worker/Senior Social Worker to join their team of professionals for a project sponsored by Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), which was created by Texas Legislature to address mental health challenges and improve mental health care in relation to children and adolescents. The Master’s level Social Worker (LMSW), preferably LCSW, will provide therapy and social care services to adolescents with problematic substance use and possibly, co-existing mental health conditions (i.e. ADHD) that increase the risk of substance misuse among adolescents.
