Biography
Selina Akhter, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and a board-certified psychiatrist at UTHealth Houston DUNN Behavioral Center since September 2023. Dr. Akhter is expert in treating dual diagnosis. Dr. Akhter served as a chief resident during her 4th year of residency. She completed her Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program at Yale School of Medicine. Her interest in the method of relapse prevention.
