Biography

Dr. Brittany Remmert is a Vanderbilt and Emory-trained forensic and clinical psychologist, professor, consultant, and supervisor. She has specialized expertise in the intersection of mental health and the legal system. Prior to her appointment at UT Health, Dr. Remmert spent many years conducting forensic evaluations for the criminal courts in Harris County, Texas and throughout the state of Colorado. Dr. Remmert has extensive experience with forensic assessments, malingering, expert testimony, and the assessment and treatment of severe mental illness.
