Audrey K. Miller, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the UTHealth Houston Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, at McGovern Medical School. She cherishes the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary teamwork capacity to address critical health and healthcare challenges of our time.
Dr. Miller has extensive research and applied experience working in the areas of gender and sexuality, minority mental health / health disparities, interpersonal and structural violence, and trauma and resilience. She also has extensive research and applied experience in law and psychology, particularly criminal and civil forensic evaluation, having completed a postdoctoral fellowship in this area with the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Public Behavioral Health and Justice Policy.
Dr. Miller is an educator at heart and has had the privilege of mentoring numerous undergraduate and graduate students in research and clinical training.
