Dr. Glover is a Licensed Psychologist and an Assistant Professor in the UTHealth Houston Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, at McGovern Medical School. Dr. Glover is also a core faculty member in the MS Clinical Psychology Program in the School of Behavioral Health Sciences and a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.
Dr. Glover’s work focuses on integrated behavioral health, perinatal mental health, and holistic healing. She practices from a trauma-informed perspective, emphasizing the role of contextual factors in promoting safety, authenticity, and psychological well-being.
Dr. Glover completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology, providing evidence-based treatment to adults with chronic mental illness. In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about teaching, supervision, consultation, and community engagement. She has supervised doctoral trainees, provided training in psychological assessment, and developed mental health initiatives within healthcare settings. Her work also includes childbirth education, with a focus on supporting healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum outcomes through evidence-based education.
