Seth Kalin, MD, is an assistant professor, and associate program director of the UTHealth Houston Psychiatry Residency Program at McGovern Medical School. His clinical interests are in the domain of adult psychiatry and his primary areas of research are in healthcare worker burnout, mindfulness training, and graduate medical education. Dr. Kalin is originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota where he completed medical school in 2018. He then completed psychiatry residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Following completion of his training he became an assistant professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and during this time he established a background in adult psychiatry clinical practice and graduate medical education leadership and gave presentations about the topic of burnout and its prevention in healthcare.
