Andrew Li-Yung Hing

Dr. Andrew Li is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he co-directs the Musculoskeletal module and serves as core faculty for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Li specializes in non-operative sports medicine, injury prevention, and advanced ultrasound-guided procedures. He currently serves as the Co-Medical Director and Team Physician for University of Houston Athletics and Tournament Physician for the ATP U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships. Notably, Dr. Li served as a sports physician at the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. A Fellow of the AAFP, he is an active member of AMSSM, ACSM, and the International Institute for Race Medicine.
