Assessment of MRI-Based Markers of Dopaminergic Integrity as a Biological Indicator of Gulf War Illness

Purpose: To determine whether Gulf War Illness (defined using the Kansas criteria) affects integrity of the dopaminergic networks in the brain.
Inclusion Criteria: Must meet the Kansas Criteria for Gulf War Illness in the domains of pain, GI symptoms, fatigue, cognitive function, mood, and military service in the 1990-1991 Gulf War. Must have been a prior participant in either “Assessment of Diverse Biological Indicators in Gulf War Illness: Are they replicable? Are they related?” or “Brain Immune Interactions as the Basis of Gulf War Illness”
