Launching! To Adulthood Program
The Launching! to Adulthood program is a 12-week transition-to-adulthood program designed for autistic young adults (ages 18–25) without an intellectual disability and their parents or caregivers. The program helps young adults build the skills needed for greater independence, improved well-being, and a successful transition into adulthood while providing parents with practical strategies to support their child’s growth.
The program integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Services include:
- Weekly group therapy for young adults
- Weekly parent support and education groups
- Individual coaching sessions for young adults
- Family therapy sessions to strengthen communication and support goal achievement
Launching! is offered in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual), is available in English and Spanish, is offered 2–3 times per year, and is billed through insurance.
If you are interested in participating, please click the “Waitlist” tab and complete the interest form and confirm your eligibility to be added to our waiting list.
Continuous Program Improvement
Launching! is conducted as a Quality Improvement (QI) Project (No. 3330). As part of the program, young adults and parents are asked to complete questionnaires throughout participation. Your feedback helps us continuously improve the program, personalize services, and ensure we are meeting the needs of participating families.
