This study is currently looking for people who:
- Cisgender woman
- Are 18 to 60 years old
- Currently in treatment for a substance use disorder
- Willing to participate in a 4-week behavioral intervention to learn about HIV prevention and Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
Study Description:
The goal of this study is to test an addiction-clinic based behavioral intervention for increasing PrEP uptake and adherence among women who engage in sexual behaviors and problematic substance use that may increase susceptibility to HIV. During the study, you will be selected to either participate in four counseling sessions and a visit with a nurse practitioner or visit a community partner to be assessed for PrEP eligibility. We also ask all participants to complete questionnaires
All participants will be compensated for their time.
