Evaluation: Children Exposed to Domestic Violence (CEDV): Understanding the Community Service Response and Needs in Texas
Domestic violence (DV) is a critical public health and safety concern for Texas children, but youth and families encounter service gaps when seeking support.
Researchers at UTMB Center for Violence Prevention partnered with The UT Austin Texas Institute on Child and Family Wellbeing (TXICFW), The Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV), and the Texas Alliance on Children and Family Services (TACFS) to conduct a statewide assessment of child and parent services in Texas domestic violence programs. The report assesses availability of services, collaborations with child welfare systems, and makes recommendations for improving the community response to children exposed to domestic violence.
