Biography

Anuj Shukla, MD, is an assistant professor in the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry and will be providing outpatient treatment services at the UT Physicians Multispecialty – Jenson Clinic. He obtained his MD degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He completed his general residency and fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. He has a particular interest in ADHD and autism. Shukla has also been involved in research in Alzheimer’s, autism, and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. While at LSU, he was active on several committees and organizations and produced several publications. He also had a passion for academics and was extensively involved in teaching medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.

While at the department, Shukla looks to continue down the path he has traveled thus far and looks to be involved in research while providing excellent and compassionate patient care, especially, in the undeserved areas around the greater Houston area.
