Jada Malveaux, MA

Jada MalveauxResearch Interests: My research interests lie at the intersection of behavioral neuroscience and affective neuroscience, focusing on how the brain regulates, responds to emotional stimuli and how specific brain regions contribute to abnormal behavior, such as in the case of psychiatric disorders. I am also interested in how multimodal imaging can guide psychopharmacological interventions. I am particularly interested in developing treatment strategies that address the unique needs of the African American community. Committed to fostering culturally sensitive psychological research, I aim to tailor interventions that consider the specific challenges faced by this population.
