Joe Wesley

Joseph “Joe” Wesley is a dynamic speaker and executive leader who brings elite athletic discipline and real-world business leadership to every stage. A former NFL linebacker with the San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and also won a World Bowl Championship with NFL Europe’s Berlin Thunder, building a career defined by resilience, accountability, and high performance.

Played collegiately at LSU was a four-year letterman, team captain, and 2X Leadership Award winner.  Joe earned national recognition as Most Outstanding Defensive Player in the Blue-Gray College All-Star Game. His experience competing at the highest levels of sport shaped the leadership mindset he now applies in business and life.

After football, Joe transitioned into becoming a Health, Safety and Environmental professional achieving 20 years as safety professional. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety and an MBA from LSU Shreveport, with additional training in Corporate Sustainability Management and Private Equity.

Joe is a powerful, relatable speaker on leadership, resilience, teamwork, and navigating transition. He has also served in leadership roles with the NFLPA Former Players Houston Chapter, supporting former athletes through advocacy and development. Also achieving Chapter of the Year under his leadership.
