Kayleigh Latimer

Kayleigh is a special programs coordinator for Youth Aware of Mental Health and a certified YAM facilitator. She recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma. While attending OU she worked as a youth ministry coordinator organizing classes and after school events for middle and high school students.

Kayleigh is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has organized a booth for the Norman Pride Festival. She started her career interning at the University of Texas Medical Branch in the Addiction Research Center where she studied the effects of psychedelics on neurogenesis. She hopes to earn her PhD in clinical psychology and do research on mental health disorders in youth.
