Neumora KOASTAL-2 Research Study for Adults with MDD

Overview:
This study, led by Nurmora, aims to evaluate the effects of NMRA-335140 (formerly BTRX-335140) on symptoms of depression in participants with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). The study design consists of a Screening Period (up to 28 days) and a 6-week Treatment Period (during which participants will receive either NMRA-335140 or a placebo).
Inclusion Criteria:
- Be 18 to 65 years of age.
- Meet DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for recurrent or single-episode MDD without psychotic features.
- The symptoms of the current MDD episode have been present for more than 4 weeks but no longer than 12 months.
- Additional criteria will apply.
What you may be asked to do:
- Office visits.
- Completing surveys.
- Blood samples.
- Completing a medication diary.
What You May Get:
You may be compensated on a per-visit basis.
