Nyakume Dup, M.A., LMSW

Portrait of Nyakume Dup, M.A., LMSWNyakume Dup is a Licensed Master Social Worker with specialized experience in adolescent and adult mental health, as well as athlete mental performance. She currently provides services to school-aged youth through the Create Your Own Resilience Initiative, implementing the Strong Kids Program at the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA.

Nyakume earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Sport and Performance Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Master of Social Work from Baylor University.

Her clinical training includes internships at Ethos Wellness and The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care and community-focused practice.
