Sharmily Roy, MPH, PhD candidate in the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, was recently awarded a scholarship to attend the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM).
Jane Hamilton, PhD, (external link) associate professor in the Faillace Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, received funding to explore Consumer and Patient Internet Searches and Activities Related to the Diagnosis and Engagement in Treatment for Alcohol Use Disorder.
UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School Students, Neha Patil (left) Alyssa Miller (right), along with Jane Hamilton, PhD (center), present a poster. Patil and Miller were mentored by Hamilton and were the Albert Schweitzer Fellows, a very prestigious award for medical students.
