Psychiatric Bioinformatics Core
The Psychiatry Bioinformatics Core is dedicated to the use and development of bioinformatics tools for the integrative and multidisciplinary analysis of biomarkers, (epi)genomic, behavioral, and neuroanatomical data from psychiatric patients. Faculty and students from the Translational Psychiatry Program collaborate with biostatisticians and bioinformaticians from several research groups and facilities around UTHealth and the Texas Medical Center, including the Center for Precision Health from the School of Biomedical Informatics.
