Psychiatric Biorepository Core

The Psychiatry Biorepository Core provides state-of-the-art services for the collection, processing, storage, distribution and management of blood samples collected by multiple groups from the Department for research purposes. It serves as both a service core and a biorepository, providing an institutional perspective on the presence of blood samples that may be available for use to foster collaborations and accelerate research and discovery. Samples include whole blood, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, buffy coat, plasma, and isolated DNA, RNA, and proteins from patients with multiple diagnoses and controls.
