Career Development and Research Excellence (CaDRE) Program in Psychiatry

The goal of the Career Development and Research Excellence (CaDRE) program is to facilitate research training and career development for the junior investigators, trainees, and fellows in the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. The specific objectives of this formal program of mentoring are:

• To provide guidance and mentorship to early career researchers to become the next generation of academic leaders
• To promote the career advancement and research interests through personalized mentorship program
• To facilitate the retention of highly talented junior faculty by providing opportunities for faculty professional development
