Laboratory of Biomarkers

The Laboratory of Biomarkers is involved in processing of biological specimens such as blood samples from study participants to carefully separate, aliquot and catalogue processed plasma, leucocytes, platelets, erythrocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells in the -80 degrees Celsius deep freezer for biomarker analysis. We use various cutting-edge methods and tools such as cell culture, bioplex (multiplex), confocal microscopy, microarray, bioanalyzer, DNA sequencing, ELISA, PCR and more for these studies.
