Program Criteria
The ROTP is available to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Experience symptoms of a serious mental illness (e.g., hallucinations, delusions, mood episodes)
- A Harris County address
- No insurance that would cover extended treatment
The ROTP does not include services that would adequately address the following concerns and is unable to enroll patients with any of the following characteristics:
- A diagnosis of a personality disorder (with some exceptions, such as cluster A disorders)
- A primary substance use disorder that causes the presenting concerns (e.g., substance-induced psychosis)
- Complex medical concerns that require specialty care and substantial monitoring or treatment
