As members of the UTHealth Trauma and Resilience Center in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, our clinicians are leading experts in the assessment and treatment of trauma and trauma-related behavioral health conditions. Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of child psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and licensed counselors, have received specialized training and experience in evidence-based, trauma-focused treatment and therapies. Our team works closely with patients, their families and their physicians to develop effective treatment plans for the best recovery outcomes.
