UTHealth Houston Center for Eating Disorders
The UTHealth Houston Center for Eating Disorders is a multi-level care treatment program, affiliated with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Our center is a collaboration between the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Adolescent Medicine.
Located at the John S. Dunn Behavioral Sciences Center at UTHealth Houston, our interdisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, medical providers, and registered dietitians comprehensively provides evidence-based psychological treatments, medical monitoring, medication management, and nutrition counseling to adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Our comprehensive services are provided across our outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. For adolescents that require immediate intervention, inpatient medical stabilization is offered at our affiliated hospital, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
