Interventional Psychiatry Fellowship

The Interventional Psychiatry Fellowship at UTHealth Houston consists of a year-long advanced clinical and academic experience managing treatment-resistant and complex psychiatric disorders with various advanced therapies. Fellows will receive direct supervision from experienced faculty members, researchers, and leaders in Interventional Psychiatry, a growing field involving invasive and noninvasive brain stimulation technologies and novel pharmacological approaches.

Applicants must complete an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program before beginning the Interventional Psychiatry Fellowship program. They should be qualified to obtain a Texas State License and must have passed Steps I, II, and III of the USMLE by the time the fellowship begins. Foreign medical graduates who have not completed an ACGME residency but have equivalent international training and are ECFMG certified may also apply.
