UTHealth Houston TCMHCC Town Hall

Join us on Friday, July 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for an informational session regarding our Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC) programs. You will hear informational talks about all programs associated with TCMHCC. You will also have the opportunity to speak with representatives from each program.

We will describe and discuss the objectives and progress of all our TCMHCC child & adolescent psychiatry and psychology programs, that are all free, stat-funded, and oriented both towards early recognition and early intervention in pediatrics. Also, early detection and intervention with therapy at the schools, and improving access to care extending the workforce through training programs and extending services to rural and underserved areas in and beyond the Greater Houston area. Moreover, we will describe a variety of additional specialized programs that are targeting adolescent substance use, adolescent anxiety, and general knowledge and awareness about mental health at the school level. There will be ample opportunity to interact with the speakers and other members of our teams during the talks and outside in our exhibitor hall.
