Lazenby took top honors and the inaugural Gary C. Rosenfeld Award for Excellence in Teaching for her presentation on “It’s Up to Us: physicians are now responsible for improving their patient’s health literacy.”
The event, co-sponsored by the Academic Medical Student Organization and the Office of Educational Programs, drew an outstanding group of abstracts from students across the first- through third-year classes.
