Effective 9/1/2019, faculty whose primary focus is teaching may be appointed on the newly created Non-Tenure Instruction (NTI) track. Click here for details.
Faculty considering applying for promotion with less than 5 years of service in current rank are considered accelerated and must satisfy rigorous criteria above and beyond normal expectations that have been recently codified by the FAPTC (click here for criteria).
