Without Salary (WOS) Appointments

Without Salary (WOS) appointments designate faculty appointments to individuals who participate in UTHealth teaching programs on a volunteer basis without remuneration (see HOOP Policy 189).

Visiting Professor Title

We are pleased to announce that UTHealth has developed a process for departments to request a “Visiting Professor Title” for distinguished visitors who will be on campus for a defined time (e.g., one week), providing a seminar or two or participating in medical/scientific conferences hosted by UTHealth Houston.

Guidelines and templates are below. For Dean’s approval, please forward all documents to the Office of Administration and Faculty Affairs (OAFA) at OAFA@uth.tmc.edu.
