McGovern, Memorial Hermann host Quality Symposium
McGovern Medical School and Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center held the annual UTHealth Houston & Memorial Hermann-TMC Quality Symposium, May 12.
The daylong event featured presentations from 2023 Clinical Safety & Effectiveness (CS&E) program graduates. The event featured a keynote address from Phillip Chang, MD, senior vice president and chief medical and quality officer at Memorial Hermann, as well as 63 oral poster presentations highlighting work on quality improvement and performance improvement currently underway at McGovern Medical School and Memorial Hermann-TMC.
Awards were presented to the following teams for their outstanding contributions to quality improvement and patient safety:
