The splendor and beauty that gratitude brings to the world is on display for the UTHealth Houston community to see.

A traveling art exhibit, “The Art of Gratitude,” features nine original pieces by Houston artists. Each artist sought to illustrate the strength of the many people who came together during the Many Faces. One Mission. fundraising campaign — and how collective effort makes an impact.

“Each piece in The Art of Gratitude collection reflects our deep appreciation for the incredible generosity of our donors to the Many Faces. One Mission. campaign,” said Kevin J. Foyle, MBA, senior vice president for Development and Public Affairs. “This traveling exhibit celebrates all of the many faces of UTHealth Houston — our educators, researchers, students, and donors — and the profound impact they are making on the health of our communities.”

In total, the seven-year philanthropic campaign raised $534.4 million from 11,315 donors — providing vital funding to support the people, research, and programs that will address some of the most critical challenges facing patients, the city, the state, and the health care system.

Read more about the impact those dollars will have on programs at all six schools on the UTHealth Houston intranet, and take a moment to reflect on the beauty gratitude bring to life by walking through the traveling art exhibit.

The Art of Gratitude will be on display for two weeks at the following locations:

  • Sept. 26-Oct. 6: The lobby of the Fayez S. and Susan K. Sarofim Research Building, which houses the Institute of Molecular Medicine (IMM), 1825 Pressler St.
