Eddie Bernice Johnson Art Wall Exhibit

The Art Wall at McGovern Medical School celebrates Black History Month and Women’s History Month with a tribute to the late Eddie Bernice Johnson. In 1972, Johnson became the first Black woman to serve in an elected office in Dallas, when she was elected to the Texas State House of Representatives.
