In April 2023, UTHealth Houston celebrated the completion of the inaugural comprehensive philanthropic campaign, Many Faces, One Mission. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the campaign raised $534.4 million to support the people, research, and programs that will address some of the most critical challenges facing our patients, city, and health care system.

This artwork, titled Working Together Unified by a Shared Love, by Debbie Gibbs, is one of the pieces specially commissioned to represent the strength of the many faces – our faculty, staff, students, and donors – who came together during the campaign to make a lasting difference in our communities.

The art is currently on display in the McGovern Medical School Building Leather Lounge.
